Position Responsibilities for Stakeholder Relation Officers at New Incentives
Advocacy to improve coverage (30%):
- Create chances to engage religious and community leaders to build support for the study and intervention of ABAE.
- Create channels for engaging fathers and mothers in settlements.
- Strengthen relationships with ABAE’s important government, religious, NGO, and INGO partners.
- Take immediate action to address supply-side difficulties, as well as provide advance notice of any other prospective issues.
- Assist in planning activities to promote awareness about the ABAE intervention.
SERICC (20%):
- Increase awareness of SERICC and promote NI / ABAE Initiative in SERICC
- Promote the goals and objectives of ABAE during meetings
- Engage partners and build networks
CCT (20%):
- Improve of positive perception of CCT in order to improve access
- Create awareness and coverage of the CCT
Networks (20%):
- Maintain good relationships with staff at the Ministry and Primary Health Care Dev Agency in the State
- Build relationships to facilitate engagements with stakeholders, even up to the Governor’s office
Security Awareness (5%):
- Report all security incidents in areas of operations, including incidents that do not directly affect staff and/or operations
- Take responsibility for personal safety and the safety of team members as applicable on the field
- Read and understand all Security documents on the context of operations including SOPs and Country Security Plan
Other duties/Special Projects (5%):
- Other requests that may be assigned by Management.
Key Requirements
Education and Work Experience
- HND, B.Sc or equivalent
- Professional qualifications in the NGO sector will be advantageous.
- 1 – 3 years relevant experience (preferably in an NGO).
Skills and Competencies required for Stakeholder Relation Officers at New Incentives
- Nigerian nationals already live in the states where this position is being advertised.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, preferably in the field of health or other natural sciences
- Experience with the Nigerian health system and clinic paperwork, notably on baby health and vaccinations
- Passion for helping others and reducing infant mortality.
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English, Hausa, and dialects (both verbal and written).
- Excellent response to email and phone queries.
- Requirements: – Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel, internet browsers, cellphones, and new communications technology. – Desire to work in a fast-paced, stakeholder-driven business with a flexible structure.
Language requirement
- Proficiency in the English language is necessary.
- Knowledge of Hausa Language (conversation and reading) is advantageous.
