Position Summary
The Video Editor will edit raw video into compelling visual content that meets brand objectives and engages target audiences across many platforms. You’ll be working across a range of projects including promotional films, brand campaigns, testimonials, event highlights and social media material for a number of customers across sectors .
For this position we are looking for a creative professional that can work closely with content, creative and strategy teams to develop high quality video material that communicates compelling visual stories. You will be working on several editing projects at the same time, ensuring that all outputs fit brand guidelines, customer needs and tight deadlines
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and produce high-quality video content for social media, digital campaigns, events, and client projects.
- Create compelling visual stories that align with brand and campaign objectives.
- Incorporate motion graphics, sound design, transitions, and visual effects where necessary.
- Collaborate with creative, strategy, and brand teams to develop engaging content.
- Manage multiple editing projects while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
- Ensure all video content adheres to brand guidelines and client requirements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, editing techniques, and emerging content formats.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in video editing (agency experience is an added advantage).
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.
- Strong storytelling, motion graphics, and visual editing skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a range of video editing projects.
