The Role
We are looking for a talented and imaginative Video Editor / Graphics Designer to join our creative team on a contract basis. In this role, you will craft engaging video content and design eye-catching graphics that bring our brand story to life across all digital platforms.
What You’ll Do
- Shoot and organize video footage as needed.
- Produce and edit high-quality videos for social media, ad campaigns, events, product promotions, and internal communications.
- Design compelling graphics for both digital and print — including social media content, flyers, brochures, banners, presentations, and marketing collateral.
- Create motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to elevate video projects.
- Ensure brand consistency and visual storytelling across every platform and deliverable.
- Work closely with the marketing and communications team to develop visually striking campaigns.
- Optimize all creative assets for various digital channels, including websites and social media.
- Keep an organized library of project files and creative assets.
- Juggle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and upholding quality.
- Stay current with design trends, new tools, and best practices in video editing and graphic design.
Who You Are
- You have hands-on experience as a Video Editor, Graphics Designer, or in a comparable creative position.
- You hold a Bachelor’s Degree, HND, or equivalent in Graphic Design, Multimedia, Mass Communication, Fine Arts, or a related discipline (preferred).
- You have completed your NYSC.
- You have a robust portfolio demonstrating your skills in video editing, motion graphics, and graphic design.
Skills We’re Looking For
- Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite — particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Solid grasp of typography, color theory, composition, and visual storytelling.
- Experience creating motion graphics and animations.
- Knowledge of video formats, compression techniques, and export settings for different platforms.
- Basic photography or videography skills (a plus).
- Excellent creativity, keen attention to detail, and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and thrive under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
