Workforce Group – Our client in the agricultural industry is recruiting suitably skilled and experienced persons to fill the role below: Warehouse Assistant.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily warehouse operations, maintaining accurate inventory and warehouse records, ensuring proper storage and organization of goods, and helping with the reception and handling of warehouse items.
This is a 6 month contract job for applicants that are available to start immediately and are comfortable working in a warehouse setting.
The position is located in Sagamu, Ogun State. The monthly remuneration is ₦151,000.

Key Responsibilities
The Warehouse Assistant will be expected to perform the following duties:
- Assist with daily warehouse operations and activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Maintain accurate records of warehouse activities and transactions.
- Ensure proper storage, organisation, and arrangement of warehouse items.
- Support the receipt, handling, and arrangement of incoming goods and materials.
- Assist with quality control activities and ensure that goods are handled appropriately.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to support warehouse operations.
- Provide regular updates on warehouse activities to the line manager.
- Follow established warehouse safety procedures and operational guidelines.
- Help maintain an organised and safe working environment within the warehouse.
Requirements and Qualifications
Interested applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of SSCE or O’Level qualification.
- Must be available for immediate resumption.
- Ability to work effectively in a warehouse environment.
- Must be computer literate.
- Ability to maintain accurate warehouse records.
- Good organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
- Willingness to follow workplace safety procedures and instructions.
Salary and Benefits
Successful candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₦151,000.
Additionally, applicants residing in Lagos who are willing to work in Sagamu, Ogun State, can benefit from staff bus transportation.
Staff Bus Pick-up Point: 7UP, Lagos.
This transportation arrangement provides an option for eligible Lagos-based applicants to commute to the workplace in Sagamu.
Contract Duration
The Warehouse Assistant position is offered on a six-month contract basis. Candidates should be prepared to resume immediately if selected.
