Summary of the Position
The EFCC is at the moment recruiting suitable eligible Nigerians for the job of Assistant Superintendent of EFCC II – GL 08 within the Detective Superintendent cadre.
This is a national wide recruitment initiative to improve the Commission’s investigative capacity and operational performance in the country.
The successful candidates will be trained as detective officers and would be posted to the various commands around the country to support the mandate of the EFCC to investigate and prosecute financial crimes.
Qualifications and Requirements
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) from a recognized institution .
- A valid National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) discharge or exemption certificate is mandatory .
Age Requirement
- Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years old .
General Requirements for EFCC Recruitment 2026
All applicants must satisfy the following conditions:
- Must be a Nigerian citizen.
- Must possess basic computer skills.
- Must declare all academic and professional qualifications during the application process.
- Must be medically fit and provide evidence of fitness from a government-approved hospital.
- Must have no tattoos on any part of the body.
- Must have no criminal record .
Additional Requirements for Cadet Officers
As this is a cadet position, the following additional conditions apply:
- Candidates must be single at the time of application.
- Male applicants must be at least 1.67 metres tall.
- Female applicants must be at least 1.64 metres tall .
