The coveted fellowship aims to encourage educational advancement and foster academic performance among Nigerian undergraduate students in authorised universities around the country.
It is one of the “Big 3” oil and gas scholarships in Nigeria (together with PTDF and NLNG) and successful applicants will receive an annual stipend of 200,000 for the duration of their studies until graduation.

About the Chevron Nigeria Limited JV Scholarship
The NNPCL/CNL JV National University Scholarship is a CSR initiative of Chevron Nigeria Limited in collaboration with Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited . It is intended to:
- Promote academic achievement in Nigerian kids
- Advance Education Development Across the Nation
- Provide financial help to outstanding but economically backward youngsters
- to develop a pipeline of highly skilled graduates to the Nigerian workforce
The scholarship is completely financed and no applicant will be asked to pay any amount at any stage of the application or selection process.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- Only applications submitted via the official portal will be considered.
- SCHOLASTICA is the official platform for the NNPC Limited/CNL JV National University Scholarship program.
- Applicants will be required to participate in a Computer-Based Test (CBT).
- Selection will be based on a combination of academic performance and CBT results.
- Applicants must ensure that all information submitted is accurate, complete, and verifiable.
- Any applicant found to have submitted false information, or forged documents will be disqualified at any stage of the process or have awards withdrawn.

- The scholarship is fully funded; applicants are not required to make any payment at any stage of the application or selection process.
