Job Description

The Place aggressive growth strategy now includes its already underway branch rollout in the United States, as well as its continuous expansion throughout Nigeria. The Place is looking for a revolutionary accountant to join its team to help with cost reduction, revenue assurance, general controls, financial reporting, and overall profit improvement efforts.

The ideal applicant should be able to examine financial processes and collaborate with the CEO to identify, record, and execute improvements, including better use of technology, staffing, and organisational structures.

Key Responsibilities for Financial Controller at The Place Restaurant

• Improving robust arrangements for always ensuring up to current identification of the most direct competitive sources for obtaining main products and services; and ensuring competitive bidding for all key purchases.
• Production control and accounting
• Revenue Assurance
• Implementing effective controls in other cost sectors, such as fuel and energy prices, transportation expenses, etc.
• Inventory and inventory levels are efficiently and effectively managed.
• Fixed asset management and control.
• Staffing Efficiency
• Review monthly financial reports to identify issues and improvement possibilities.

Qualifications

• We desire someone with experience working at a senior level within the audit team (specialised with consumer markets: manufacturing, distribution, and retail customers) at a large audit firm such as EY, Deloitte, BDO, PKF, Grant Thornton, Crowe Darionne, SIAO.
• A minimum of 2:1 first degree or higher credit HND from a reputable postsecondary institution is preferred.
• Three (3) years of experience managing the finances of a similar organisation with a fully integrated computerised accounting system, numerous business sites, inventory locations, and production accounting locations.

Our salary is highly appealing, including our profit-sharing arrangement.
