Job Summary
Fiphs Infrastructure Limited is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Officer to support its technology operations and ensure the efficient performance of its IT infrastructure.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance to employees, resolving hardware and software issues, monitoring network performance, maintaining IT equipment, and supporting the company’s computer systems.

Key Responsibilities
The IT Officer will be responsible for the following duties:
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network operating system issues to ensure the smooth operation of the company’s IT infrastructure.
- Monitor and maintain IT systems to ensure maximum uptime, optimal performance, and security.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets, including computer hardware, software, and peripheral equipment.
- Document IT processes, procedures, and troubleshooting guides to support effective technical operations.
- Provide technical support to users by resolving network, connectivity, desktop, and application-related issues through phone, email, and in-person assistance.
- Maintain the company’s helpdesk system by creating, tracking, updating, and resolving technical support tickets.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer peripherals, including printers, scanners, and external storage devices.
- Periodically update website content in collaboration with the company’s Design and Brand team.
- Create support tickets and work orders while ensuring proper management of the incident resolution process.
- Manage user accounts, including setting up new users, configuring email accounts, and assigning appropriate access permissions.
- Support routine maintenance of servers, routers, switches, and other network devices.
- Assist in identifying and resolving IT-related problems to minimize disruptions to business operations.
Qualifications and Requirements

- Minimum of a B.Sc. or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience providing technical support in a Windows and Exchange network environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating system problems.
- Experience resolving technical issues relating to malware, printing, and email systems.
- Familiarity with diagnosing internet connectivity problems across Internet Service Providers (ISPs), switches, servers, and desktop systems.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Good organizational and technical support abilities.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.
