Job Summary
- A Quality Control Manager oversees an organization’s quality control program.
- The major purpose of this function is to ensure that the organization’s products, services, and procedures satisfy the needed quality standards while also serving the needs of its customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, implement, and manage quality control policies and procedures.
- Oversee daily operations of the quality control program, including inspections, testing, and audits.
- Conduct regular internal and external quality control audits to guarantee compliance with the defined standards and processes.
- Create and maintain a system for monitoring and evaluating quality control data, and report results to top management.
- Identify and investigate quality control concerns, and propose solutions to improve the quality of products, services, and processes.
- Collaborate with the production, engineering, and R&D teams to include quality control considerations into the design, development, and manufacturing processes.
- Create and implement training programs to teach staff quality control processes and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Control, Engineering, or a related field,Â
- At least 8 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance roleÂ
- Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies and best practices such as ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, and Six Sigma, excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills,
- The ability to analyze complex data and draw meaningful conclusions, and a strong attention to detail and commitment.
