Job Role

• The Site Engineer will be in charge of managing construction activities and ensuring that the project is completed in accordance with authorized plans, quality standards, and schedules.  
• To provide high-quality real estate projects, the role demands excellent technical expertise, site management abilities, and collaboration with numerous stakeholders.

 Key responsibilities for Site Engineer at Alpha Mead Group

 (A) Site Management and Supervision.

• Oversee daily construction activities and ensure that work is completed according to approved designs and specifications.
• Track the progress of construction projects and create status reports.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure that work is completed on time.
•  Ensure that all site-specific safety, health, and environmental laws are followed.

 (B) Quality assurance and control.

•  Conduct on-site checks to ensure the quality of materials and workmanship.
•  Ensure compliance with construction quality standards and correct any violations.
•  Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) team on material testing and certification.

 (C) Project coordination and communication.

• Work closely with architects, consultants, and project managers to guarantee a flawless implementation.
• Attend site meetings, provide technical feedback, and handle any on-site difficulties.
• Maintain clear communication with the procurement staff about material requirements.

 (D) Documenting and Reporting

•  Maintain daily site reports, labor attendance records, and material use logs.
•  Maintain an accurate record of site activity, work permits, and approvals.
•  Assist in creating project schedules and tracking progress against deadlines.

 (E) Budgets and Cost Control

 Monitor resource consumption and reduce material waste.

 Verify contractor costs and work orders based on real site progress.

 Qualifications for Site Engineer at Alpha Mead Group

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in civil engineering or a comparable discipline.
• Minimum of four years of experience working on real estate construction projects (residential, commercial, or mixed-use).
• Excellent understanding of construction procedures, structural work, finishing, and MEP coordination.
• Experience with project management systems such as MS Project and Primavera.

Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit (recommended), and other design review tools.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage several projects while meeting deadlines.
• Professional certifications, such as PMP (Project Management Professional), are an added advantage.
• Safety certifications (OSHA, NEBOSH) are an added bonus.
• Candidates residing in Ajah, Sangotedo and its surrounds will be highly regarded.
