Position Overview
- He or she is in charge of operating and maintaining utility equipment such as steam boilers, generators, air compressors, electricity distribution equipment, water treatment plants, effluent treatment plants, and so on, in order to provide quality service.
- Responsibilities include managing utility equipment such as steam boilers, generators, air compressors, power distribution equipment, water treatment plants, and wastewater treatment plants to assure high-quality services.
- Lubricate the equipment as per the lubrication chart and paperwork. Clean and wash all stains on the equipment after lubrication.
- Ensure that all line activities adhere to appropriate manufacturing, food safety, environmental management, and occupational health and safety procedures.
- Monitor and ensure that CCP critical limits are not exceeded at the Dominik Hunter and Filler. Monitoring of control points, PRPs, and oPRPs in the beverage manufacturing process to avoid food safety issues.
- Maintain all equipment under utilities to ensure availability and dependability, reducing downtime.
- Maintain and operate the CO2 plant and associated supply network points as specified.
- Monitor equipment in accordance with the checklist, document results, and make recommendations for next steps. Prepare an equipment shift operation report.
- Use the CMMS to perform condition-based maintenance on all utility equipment. (SAP-PM).
Qualifications for Utility Manager at Seven-Up Bottling Company Limited
- A minimum of a Bachelor of Engineering Degree (B.Eng.) or Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Knowledge of bottling operations, including planning, manufacturing, quality, the environment, engineering, health and safety.
- A minimum of five to seven years of relevant hands-on FMCG operating and maintenance experience is required.
- At least three years of managing experience at a beverage bottling company.
- Experienced with budgeting and people management.
