The Bus Driver will be in charge of making sure that students, workers, and visitors get to and from the University safely and reliably.

Job Summary
The Bus Driver will be responsible for the safe and reliable transportation of students, staff and visitors to and from the University and on and off campus. This work is vital to the efficient operation of the University community, whilst maintaining the highest levels of road safety and professionalism.
Main Responsibilities
- Passenger Transport: Transport students, staff and guests to and from the University and other venues as required. Punctuality and comfort are essential.
- Safety Compliance: Always strictly observe traffic laws and road safety rules.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on assigned vehicles including checking oil, water, tire pressure, and brakes.
- Record Keeping: Keep good records of journeys, fuel usage and vehicle maintenance schedules.
- Fault Reporting: Report vehicle issues in time and repair them in time.
Requirements
- Age Limit: Applicants must not be more than 45 years of age at the time of application.
- Education: Minimum of Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent.
- Licensing: Valid Driver’s Licence is required.
- Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience driving buses or commercial passenger vehicles.
- Knowledge: Good knowledge of road safety regulations and vehicle maintenance.
- Personal Attributes: Must possess good character, integrity, and strong communication skills.
