Lagos Fashion Week is more than just runway shows – it’s business, production, craftsmanship, culture and global trade all rolled into one.
The 2026 edition is slated to return from Wednesday October 28 to Sunday November 1 bringing another five days dedicated to African creativity and craftsmanship.
Job Description
Job Description Lagos Fashion Week is seeking enthusiastic and meticulous Show Support Interns for 2026.
This role offers an incredible chance to be part of one of Africa’s premier fashion festivals from behind the scenes. In this position, you will collaborate directly with the production and events team to facilitate the smooth operation of runway shows, presentations, and associated events.
You will experience the dynamic environment of fashion production and benefit from significant industry insight and networking prospects.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the show production team with pre-show preparations and on-site coordination
- Support model management during fittings, rehearsals, and runway shows
- Help with the setup and dismantling of show venues and backstage areas
- Coordinate with designers, stylists, makeup artists, and other stakeholders
- Assist with guest management and front-of-house operations as needed
- Support the logistics team with the movement of garments, racks, and equipment
- Provide general administrative and operational support during the event
- Perform other duties as assigned by the show production team
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications
- Strong interest in fashion, events, or production
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during the event period
- Previous experience in events, fashion, or hospitality is an added advantage
