The 2026 edition is slated to return from Wednesday October 28 to Sunday November 1 bringing another five days dedicated to African creativity and craftsmanship.
Job Description
We are seeking meticulous and detail-oriented individuals with a passion for fashion to join our team as Wardrobe Interns for Lagos Fashion Week 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain exclusive backstage experience at one of Africa’s most prestigious fashion events. As a Wardrobe Intern, you will work closely with designers, stylists and models to ensure that runway shows run smoothly.
You will be responsible for organization, preparation and management of garments and accessories backstage, a critical role that keeps the show running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist designers and stylists with garment prep, steaming, and pressing.
- Organize and organize clothing racks and accessories for every show.
- Dress models backstage according to show order and designer specs
- Ensure clothing are correctly fitted and styled on models before they hit the runway
- Assist with rapid adjustments between looks during runway shows
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the wardrobe area backstage
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure garments are in the correct order
- Support with model fittings and rehearsals before to show day
- Perform other wardrobe-related activities as assigned by the production team
- Requirements
- Strong interest in fashion, styling, or production
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced, high-energy atmosphere
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends throughout the event time
- Previous expertise in fashion, style, or events is an added advantage
