Job Summary
- The Senior Front-end Engineer is expected to create and build functional software solutions for web clients. You will use the react js application framework.Â
- Experience with these frameworks is preferable, but you can apply if you have worked with similar J.S frameworks. Â
- You will collaborate with the Enterprise Architect to identify software requirements and take the lead on operational and technical initiatives.Â
- In this capacity, you should be able to operate independently with minimal supervision. You should be well-organized and capable at problem solving. Â
- You must also have practical knowledge with software development and agile approaches. Â
- Your primary goal will be to create high-quality software that meets user needs and company objectives.
Job Responsibilities Senior Frontend Engineer (React) at Moniepoint
- Create high-quality software designs and architecture.
- Identify, prioritize, and carry out tasks in the software development life cycle.
- Create tools and applications by writing clean, efficient code.
- Automate tasks with proper tools and scripting.
- Review and troubleshoot the code.
- Perform validation and verification testing.
- Work with internal teams and vendors to fix and enhance products.
- Monitor systems and document the development phases.
- Ensure that the software is up to date with the latest technologies.
Job Requirements
- At least 5 years of demonstrated experience as a software engineer.
- 5+ years of expertise in Javascript and React, as well as software development, scripting, and project management skills.
- Experience with system monitoring tools (such as New Relic) and automated testing frameworks
- Experience with a variety of operating systems (Linux, Mac OS, Windows)
- Analytical intellect with problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent organizational and leadership capabilities.
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar capabilities
