Job Role
You will be working with seasoned engineers and IT specialists, and helping deliver real-world projects that drive the hotel and commercial sectors in Nigeria and beyond. If you are keen to learn, have a good grounding in Python and Laravel, and want to establish a career in software development, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in daily code reviews and team stand-ups to foster collaboration and continuous improvement
- Write, test, and debug clean, efficient code using Python and Laravel (PHP)
- Assist in the development and maintenance of web applications for hospitality and business solutions
- Learn from senior developers and actively contribute to ongoing projects
- Work with JSON for data exchange and API integrations
- Document code and technical processes to support knowledge sharing within the team
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues as they arise
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and development best practices
Requirements
Experience
- 1–3 years of software development experience
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to real-world development projects
Technical Skills (Must-Have)
- Working knowledge of Python
- Working knowledge of Laravel (PHP)
- Working knowledge of JSON for data exchange and API integrations
- Familiarity with Git for version control
- Familiarity with basic debugging tools
Soft Skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow technical skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Added Advantages (Nice-to-Have)
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js)
- Basic understanding of database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
