About VivaFemini Limited

VivaFemini’s objective is to revolutionise women’s health in Africa by establishing a state-of-the-art digital health ecosystem that is accessible, culturally relevant and impactful.

We are a fast moving, daring, impact-driven firm in pre-seed phase that offers discreet digital care, telehealth consultations and lifecycle tracking (fertility, menstruation, perimenopause/menopause, maternal health, etc.) to women throughout the continent.

About the Role

  • You are the single point of accountability for the Product and its Delivery. You define what we build and why, then roll up your sleeves to ensure engineering ships it on time and at start-up speed.
  • This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who hates “admin” and loves “shipping.”

Key Responsibilities

  • GTM Collaboration: Partner with Marketing and Growth to align product launches with go-to-market efforts, ensuring the product is ready for acquisition tests and scaling.
  • Practical Implementation: You are an operator. Whether it’s performing user interviews, doing final QA, or jumping into zoho sprint to re-prioritize a problem, you do what it takes to get the product in the customers hands.
  • Product Strategy & Roadmap: Own the roadmap of our product features, prioritise based on user data and clinical goals.
  • Requirements & Ownership: Write clear PRDs, FRDs, user stories and acceptance criteria You make sure that vague requirements don’t slow down engineering.
  • Metrics & Outcomes: Product KPIs (Activation, Retention, Time-to-Value) and Delivery KPIs (Sprint Predictability, Cycle Time).
  • End-to-End Delivery Act as the internal “Engine Room” lead: running stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives to remove technical bottlenecks and boost team velocity.

The Profile (Non-Negotiable):

  • Execution over Admin: We don’t want a meeting joiner. We need someone who produces the specs, talks to the users, and knows the tech stack well enough to unblock a dev.
  • company DNA: You need to have clear experience in a fast-paced company. You know how to ship under pressure and you realise that “done is better than perfect”
  • Ownership Mindset: You don’t “coordinate” or “administer” you own. You are the one with the strategy to correct it if a feature is late or a metric is down.
  • Growth & GTM Savvy: You know how product features promote acquisition and how to engage with marketing to execute a successful Go-To-Market.

Required Experience & Profile

  • 4 years Product Management with a strong secondary focus on Delivery & Project Management.
  • Reporting Excellence : Ability to track performance and provide leadership with clear, data-driven visibility into the health of the team and product.
  • Ownership Mindset: You don’t “manage” – you own. If a feature is late, you have the plan to fix it.
  • Startup DNA & Lean Mentality: Experience working in lean situations where you need to be resourceful, move fast and do more with less.
  • Proven Track Record – You have shipped end-to-end consumer facing products (be prepared to show us the metrics you moved).
  • Agile Mastery: Strong familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and technologies like Miro, Zoho Sprint, ClickUp or equivalent.

Important – Please only apply to this role if you:

  • You are comfortable working in a remote-first and very ambiguous setting where you will have to build order out of chaos.
  • You have 4+ years of product experience unique to startups (not corporate / admin jobs)
  • You are a doer (you develop your own PRDs, FRDs, run your own user research, do your own QA)
  • You have a history of delivery — you know how to get a team to ship reliably and predictably.
  • Payment:
  • Competitive remuneration depending on experience and shown ability to deliver. Remote friendly.

Application Process

Interested and qualified candidates should submit their CV and a concise cover letter to partnerships@vivafemini.org

The job title should be included in the subject line of the email.

Note

  • Ensure that your closing letter does not disclose your “management style.” Please provide information regarding the most recent product you shipped, the most significant delivery catastrophe you resolved, and the specific metrics you adjusted.
  • We are currently seeking candidates who possess the capacity to execute.
  • The deadline for applications is  July 10, 2026.
