Job Summary
The Unit Accountant will be responsible for representing the accounting and treasury functions at the assigned business unit while ensuring the proper safeguarding of the company’s current assets.

The role also involves carrying out additional responsibilities that may be assigned by the manager responsible for the candidate’s primary assignment.
The ideal candidate should possess a strong accounting background, good Microsoft Excel skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
Key Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the Unit Accountant is to represent the accounting and treasury functions at the unit level and safeguard the company’s current assets.
The role may involve the following related duties:
- Represent the accounting and treasury functions at the assigned business unit.
- Support the effective management of financial and accounting activities at the unit level.
- Help safeguard the company’s current assets through proper financial controls and accountability.
- Support the monitoring and management of unit-level financial transactions.
- Maintain appropriate accounting records and financial documentation.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with established accounting and treasury procedures.
- Apply Microsoft Excel skills in handling financial information and accounting-related tasks.
- Work with the relevant manager to ensure effective execution of assigned responsibilities.
- Perform other duties that may be assigned by the manager responsible for the primary assignment.

Qualifications and Requirements
Interested applicants must meet the following requirements:
- First degree in Accounting (B.Sc. or HND).
- Minimum of Second Class qualification.

- Ability to work independently and demonstrate self-motivation.
