Job Summary
Our client is seeking a talented and experienced WordPress Developer to join their team remotely. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining high-performance websites, customizing themes and plugins, and ensuring excellent user experience and functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites.
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements.
- Ensure websites are responsive, user-friendly, and optimized for performance.
- Troubleshoot website issues and implement fixes promptly.
- Manage website updates, backups, and security measures.
- Optimize websites for SEO and speed performance.
- Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other team members to execute projects effectively.
- Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and plugins where necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS, themes, and plugins.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Experience with Elementor or other page builders.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and website optimization.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues independently.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Ability to work remotely and meet deadlines.
Nice to Have (Advantageous)
- Experience with WooCommerce (e-commerce websites).
- Knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Familiarity with hosting environments (cPanel, Cloudways, etc.).
What You Will Earn
The successful candidate will receive a competitive monthly salary of ₦150,000.
